Ashlie, a first-generation Vietnamese-American artist, holds a BA in Fine Arts with a focus on Drawing and Painting from Cal-State Fullerton, where she graduated in 2017.

During her formative years, she worked as a large-scale events and wedding floral designer for 8 years under Foxtail Florals, which has helped her gain a deeper knowledge in understanding color palettes, composition, textures, form, patterns, proportions, and exploring art outside of the canvas and easel.

Ashlie now paints in her free time, focusing on oil painting and capturing "the sense in momentary stillness" through her work.
